Omnitopia

Omnitopia is an augmented reality installation that metaphorically explores the interaction of space and time with the digital age, and how it alters human perception of space and time. By utilizing augmented reality, 3D spatial audio and spatial positioning of the fragments of recorded footage, soundscapes, and point clouds from distant locations, Omnitopia creates an immersive liminal hyperspace within the spectators' place to redefine it into a continuous and everchanging place, a new type of place that capable of containing all space in a single time-frame and disconnects the concept of space from time and turns it into a dynamic entity.
